Make up Forever Face & Body

Hi,

This is the Make up Forever Face & Body, i have been using this for the past 2 months and i have to

say i really like this foundation .

I have been searching for a lightweight and watery foundation because i don't like the feeling

of heavy foundation on my skin everyday.


At first i've planned to purchase the MAC face and body since there is a lot of good reviews

 about it, but at the end i decided to bought this, because i prefer MUF to MAC textures

which is slightly thicker than MUF.

MUF has a "pudding" ,and watery textures that feels very lightweight on the skin, no fuss application.

 The Texture:

Watery texture , refreshing and lightweight feeling on skin.

For the application, you can use the foundation, flat top brush to apply.

I myself prefer using my fingers for the most natural results.

The Good:

Build-able coverage ( light to medium)

Light and watery textures


Reasonable price for the product you get ( 50 ml) cost around 170-200 MYR.

New version came with the pump which is  more hygienic and easier for the application.

The Downside:

Not for those who prefer full coverage foundation.

Have this "flowery" fragrance that sometime i still not use to it, but when you apply it on your face

you smell nothing.

For people with oily skin , this might not be the best choices =)

Chanel soleil tan de chanel

Chanel has made lots of amazing products including the famous soleil de tan

It's not a new item, i've heard about it for quite some time already

People rave about it everywhere , but  I didn't really get my hand to try it simply because

i have my other favorite bronzer already, but guess what, since last months i purchase

this i have been using this bronzer like everyday!

 Products come with a transparent stopper to keep the products hygiene, and from drying out.

Yes it do have it's own pros and cons:

Cons:

It is on a pricier side of products for a bronzer, packaging is quite bulky

For people with very fair skin tone you should use it sparingly or otherwise it wil look

too dark on the skin .

Pros:

 It is in a cream form so it is long lasting

Deliver a very natural results on skin especially for medium skin tone

Generous amount of product for the price ( 30 g ), will last for a long time

Nice packaging with their classic Chanel logos

And last but not least it's Chanel !

Who doesn't love Chanel products =)

Revlon Super lustrous And Matte Lip Colors

Sorry for not posting, been busy for quite a while >..<
So, today i'm going to review about a lip products, and yes it's Revlon's again.

I have always in love with Revlon, they always made a good quality of products especially for their lip products.
Actually this is not the new line from Revlon, but i just would like to share with you one of my favorite lip products and colors beside the lip butters range =)

Which is their super lustrous and matte line:

The Revlon Super- lustrous in Pink In the Afternoon is a creme type, which feels very moisturized and hydrating when applied, and the color pay off is sheer to medium depending on the amount applied, it's one of the most prettiest pink color i've own and the colors should be flattering for fair to medium, tan or dark skin, beside that the super lustrous range has a wide range of colors for you to choose depend on what colors you need  .

The Revlon Matte in smoked peach, one of my most favorite matte lip colors, unlike any other matte lip products that might appear drying, flaky or something like that, but this matte lip stick from Revlon is the most moisturizing matte lip products i've tried from the drugstore line.

Well of course it's the best to exfoliate and moisturized your lips for a better results , so that you can pull off  any type of lip products either matte, or creme and etc=)

Revlon Color-burst Lip Butters

Finally the Revlon lip butters arrive in Malaysia!
Actually i bought them around maybe beginning of February if i'm not mistaken when i  saw it in the drugstore( guardian ), but i just wanna try it by myself before i review it =).

I was so excited to try on this lip butters because there's tons of good review about this.
The lip butters suppose to have wide range of colors( 20 shades) in the States, but in Malaysia they only have 8 shades which is the : Brown sugar, Peach Parfait, Fig Jam, Cherry Tart, Lollipop, Strawberry Shortcake, Sugar Plum, Macaroon.

Finally from the 8 shades they have, i decided to try 4 of them which is the : 

L-R: Peach Parfait( which is one of the famous shades), Brown sugar, Sugar Plum, Strawberry Shortcake

I'm really in love with their lip butters, it is a very moisturizing lip products as it suppose to be a lip butter,but what's the best is whether it is a lip butter/ tinted lip-balm i found that the pigmentation is amazing not like the others that tend to be sheer.The most pigmented color in this line is Lollipop( which is also one of the famous color), when i first swatch it in the store i was quite shocked because the color is very bright unlike a tinted lip-balm, but because i found the color did not suits me, and the way too bright for me i didn't purchased it =(

The Good:

-.A very smooth application.

-. The pigmentation is amazing, it is a very moisturizing products.

-. The packaging itself is similar to the color burst line but the see through transparent version according to the lip butters shades and the top of the packaging is transparent which is good because it is easier for you to see the shades.

-. It has a very pleasant fragrance of Vanilla and it doesn't taste weird like some other lip products.

The Downside:
-. As it's called "Butter", you have to be careful with them ,  which is because the lip butter textures is very very smooth, after several times of application, when you try to put the products in to the tube sometimes it's kinda messy around the top of the tube.

-. It stays for around 2 hours depend on what you eat or drink( as it is a tinted lip-balm it won't stay as long as a lipsticks do)

But overall this is a very good products and worth to try, sometimes i'm not even thinking of wearing a usual lipstick as this lip butters has a very light feeling of lip balm but a finish of a lipsticks which i totally love  =)

Chanel Vitalumiere Hydra Cream Foundation

Hi,

This is a cream foundation from Chanel, it's quite new whether it's not their newest products.

I love this cream foundation so much because it's so hydrating, not cakey, gives a dewy finish, and made my skin feels fresh and plumped upon application which i love because i don't like a full coverage that much  plus it has SPF 15 , and honestly this is my most absolute favorite foundation among other foundation i have.

The adverts :
Chanel claims that this vitalumiere hydra contains lots of water content, shades that designed to match Asian
skin-tone, and will last for 8 hours in comfort.

It comes with the Chanel velvet pouch as the other Chanel's products 

Compact packaging including mirror, sponge applicator.

Application tips:

Usually after primer i just use the sponge applicator that includes in the compact to apply the foundation with a lightly stroke then you can go with concealer if you wish ( because it's a light to medium coverage), then I just use my MSF natural with a kabuki brush, and it gives me a natural dewy and plumped finish =) 

Personally i might re- purchase this products once i finished it , because i love the finish and the feel on my skin so muchit gives a dewy and fresh finish not a greasy feeling , about the staying power i myself never wore foundation that long, but according to me the staying power is average.

Beside that people with oily skin might find this the way too dewy that will leads to oiliness looks and feelings, but if you want to try this foundation, just use a mattifying primer or dust on a matte powder after this foundation.

Inglot AMC Mousse Foundation

Just wanna share , it's about Inglot again =)
Inglot made a good make up products, and this time it is about one of my favorite matte foundation.
This is a mousse type foundation.

Application tips:

Usually i put on this foundation after primer, it's easier blending this with your fingers, which the warms of your finger will melt the products even better than brushes, and you will get a more natural finished.

The pros: This mousse foundation stays for a quite long time, and it's surely gives a matte finish  .
It's medium to full coverage.
It has a very smooth, silky and airy textures that melts once applied

The downside: Some people might  prefer a non fragrance make up for the faces, but this foundation has slightly a little bit of fragrance, but i used to the smell after several time i applied this =) 

Inglot Freedom System Palette

Hi guys,

This is the Inglot Freedom system palette, Inglot itself is a make up brand from Poland, it is quite famous lately because of the freedom system and their reasonable prices , but what i hate most is whether their prices is still affordable but they had increased their prices by this year 2012 .

 But beside that,  overall the quality and pigmentation of Inglot products especially their eyeshadow and blushes is actually comparable to MAC products, they have quite wide range of colors for the shadows, whether some of the blushes and shadows has a little bit a fall out when i swipe my brushes on them.

They have a lot of freedom system palette to choose such as blushes palette, eyeshadow, lip-color, concealer, combination palette, that you can personally select which color you want, which is a good thing because if I bought the usual palette, there might be several color that I hate or might not be suitable for me.

Finally I choose the combination palette ( 201 MYR complete ),  that includes 2 eyeshadow, 1 blush and 1 powder, which i think will be a very suitable palette to bring along while i'm traveling or when i'm too lazy to bring the single items .

Topshop Neon Rose cream blush

Hi guys,

This is the make up by Topshop, it's  not their new collection, but I would like to share with you one of my favorite blushes all the time.

The packaging is so compact and easy as the on the go blushes, and it is not the typical cream blushes that might feel sticky especially through out the day, the formulation of this blushes is the cream to powder type.

The first time i saw this blushes, the color look a little bit too bright and not wearable, but when applied and blended on the skin, it gives the prettiest peachy coral flush to the complexion and it last the whole day, but for people with oily skin type you might need to re-apply, but for me i have a combination type skin and this blushes even stays for quite a long time.

It is so easy to apply this blushes , by using fingers to apply and blend for a more natural results or using a brush instead both ways will do.

Overall, this blushes has a good quality, staying power , pigmentation with an affordable prices, and this blushes will last for a long time , I have been using this blushes almost everyday and it hasn't even hit the pan yet .

Urban Decay The Book Of Shadows 4

Hi guys,

This is the Urban Decay Book Of Shadows 4, it is a limited edition collection from Urban Decay as the other previous book of shadows, but i think you can still get it online or at Sephora itself because it's still quite new.

As usual i love the quality and the color pigmentation of Urban Decay shadows.
This palette comes with 12 color of shadows mixture of matte and shimmery shades of neutrals, blueish  purple color which is still a wearable color for daily usage.
Beside that it came with a mirror, a  full size black eyeliner, travel size mascara , primer potion, and a UD keychain , and a card with the QR  scan code of the tutorial videos ideas of applying the colors in the palette .

The Pros And Cons:

The only major cons for me is the packaging , it is so bulky and quite heavy, which might not be suitable to carry around and because of the packaging design,  which is a little bit complicated, it might not be suitable to use when you are in a hurry( you have to pull out the shadows from the "drawer" and to get it in , which might takes some time).
Overall I love this palette , it has a very good pigmentation, whether some of the shadows has a little bit of fall out when i swatch it but it might not be a problem , use the primer potion that comes with the palette and guarantee the color will last the whole day=)

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Hi,

This is the Urban Decay Naked Palette the original one.

I know it's not a new one , and actually i bought this for quite a long time ago and still loving it.

Wanna get my hand on the Naked palette2 but it is out of stock everywhere =(

Hope they will re-stock it again soon.

So,for now let me just review about the original naked palette.

Urban Decay makes a nice quality for their products including the eyeshadow , and i always love the color and the pigmentation.

This naked palette is one of their best products , which comes with 12 colors of matte( virgin, naked,buck) and shimmery neutral shades and the karma eyeshadow brush ( sorry i forgot to put in the eyeshadow brush when i picture it =(  .

This palette is more to the warmer bronzy gold color tone which might be more suitable to people with warm undertones from medium to tan or deep skin tone, whether it will still look nice on fair skin tones.It just depends on the color you mix =)

This is an eyeshadow palette worth the price, whether it might look pricey 175 MYR, but if you break it down it is much cheaper than the MAC eyeshadow comparing the quality and quantity (1.3 gram each) you will get.

This palette is worth to try, the color is very pigmented and universal for everyday use, but before according to me,  whether I haven't tried the naked 2 myself ,but based on the others review and swatches , people with fair skin tone , who uses taupe and more grey color, will find the naked palette 2  more suitable for their skin tone because the palette has more cold taupe and grey color. 

So just go the counter , swatch it, find which palette is more on suitable for you and buy it .

You won't regret it because i use this palette almost everyday , the color is very wearable, pigmented, long lasting and not a usual boring brown and beige neutral color =)

ELF Blush&Bronzing Powder

Hi guys,

Just bought this ELF blush and bronzing powder online since i can't get it here.

I decided to give it a try finally, after hearing lots of good review about this.

Lots of people said that  this is the best dupe of NARS orgasm ans laguna bronzer .

Personally i don't know precisely about the NARS orgasm and laguna bronzer duo because,
i did not own it, but for me this ELF products looks very similar to NARS from the packaging itself.

The blush and bronzer itself is very pigmented which is a good thing for a drugstore products.

The blush itself has a pinky peachy tone with a subtle gold particles in it, which will gives you that pretty sheen when apply to your cheeks.

So, according to me this a very good dupe and way more cheaper than NARS ,whether it might not be the same , but it is worth to try =)
